Elham is a BAFTA and BIFA nominated & Oscar-shortlisted writer, director and actor.

As a director, Elham’s had great success with his short films. His most recent short, Forgotten Spaceman, premiered at Locarno, is BIFA long-listed, played at LFF this year and has also been shown at TIFF, IDFA and CHICAGO amongst others. His debut short, Our Kind of Love was also BAFTA long-listed in 2019 and garnered over 3.6 million views on Youtube whilst another short of his, Yellow, was shortlisted for the Academy Awards and nominated for a BAFTA in 2024. He is currently developing his debut feature film, which he will also direct, with Maya Vision, Ken Loach’s Sixteen Films and the BFI. In 2023, he also worked with Stephen Daldry as the Second Unit Director on the final episode of the last series of The Crown.

As a writer, Elham has just won the Highly Commended Prize at the Verity Bargate Award and is now under commission by Soho Theatre to develop his play, THE FAITHFULS, for their Main Stage. It was also shortlisted for the prestigious Cooper Prize. Elham is currently writing a stage play for Good Chance Productions, which Justin Martin is attached to direct. Elham has been part of the Royal Court Theatre Writer’s Group, the BBC Voices London scheme and BAFTA Connect. He also worked on an adaptation of Hamed Amiri's acclaimed book THE BOY WITH TWO HEARTS for Synchronicity Films. 

As an actor, his credits include The Agency (Paramount+), Shantaram (Apple TV+), Unforgotten (ITV), Homeland (Showtime), and the West End and New York production of The Jungle.
